David Riches - Project Management Expert

David Riches is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and an experienced Project Manager academically trained and qualified to the IEE equivalent of a first class degree. He has over 40 years experience in commercial, contract and project management of industrial and utility projects with particular emphasis on electrical and power generation projects.

David's career started with English Electric Company and has spanned the three key areas of plant manufacture, design and construction and engineering consultancy. His work in the latter areas includes several years working overseas.

David's particular expertise covers Pre-qualification analysis and selection of equipment and services suppliers, Preparation, negotiation and letting of major equipment and services contracts in the UK and overseas, Contract management and supervision for timely completion and tight financial control.

David is currently the Chairman of the North Wales Chapter of the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
