Nigel Willoughby - Environment and Contracts Expert

Nigel is a Chartered Engineer with an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in Environment and Energy consultancy.

He has undertaken numerous consultancy assignments in the private and the public sector. For the UK government, Nigel has worked on such diverse assignments as Energy Efficiency Best Practice Programme, Community Energy Programme, The Public Private Partnership, and Environmental Assessment conducting BREEAM assessments.

Nigel has also been involved in the development of Guidance Documentation for the UK's Carbon Trust. He has conducted Quality Assurance reviews on Carbon Trust's energy savings reports.

Nigel has assisted Government Departments such as Royal Naval establishments, HM Prison service, and the Health sector to meet UK Government's Environmental targets.

For a major multi national ESCO, Nigel had the responsibility for vetting contracts and proposals conducting Risk Assessments and advising regional teams on contractual issues relating to Energy Performance Contracting.
