Martin Doherty - Banking Expert

Previously with the UK civil service, Martin was closely involved with the financial sector to identify how industry could be restructured through new financing methods, government finance packages and schemes.

As Regional director with the Department of Energy, Martin carried the responsibility for advising Ministers on the practicalities and application of differing types of financial instruments in the pursuit of energy efficiency and security of supply.

With Maicon, Martin has been involved in a variety of EU sponsored energy projects involving analysis of financial and legal infrastructures and the establishment of creative solutions. Has spoken extensively at international conferences and published numerous papers.
